For those out there who still believe that President Bush is a supporter of Human Rights around the world may care to read the entries on Stephen Grey’s wonderful, but scary, blog.
Tony, as a New Statesman subscriber I regularly see Stephen Grey's excellent articles, and this might colour my views. But I want to chance my arm and suggest that your exciting promise of needing a strong stomach to read about Rendition falls a teeny bit flat when reading the earlier articles on 'Taking mint tea with terrorists', 'Blundering into Iraq' etc. Of course non-readers of the NS might will doubtless find all Stephen's stuff interesting and carry on reading regardless until they get to the appopriate articles. Or they might scroll down intelligently, searching out the promised gore.......Anyway, this is just an idea to get them there quicker - if they want it. But it's a great blog to have SG's collected writings from Iraq on tap. Well done. I approve strongly.
