Moving the Roadmap?

Housing units Posted by Hello Yesterday the US National Security Adviser, confirmed the US administration's support for increased Israeli settlements within the Occupied Territories. Is this a change in US policy? http://www.nytimes.com/2004/08/21/politics/21diplo.html?hp

HI Tony,

The trouble is that AIPAC and loonie rapturists have such a strong grip on American politics that both candidates adopt a position of trying to outbid each other in their support for Israel. Kerry made a speech not long ago saying that he will "never do ANYTHING that would damage Israel's interests. Neatly switching backgrounds. Irish in Boston; Jewish in Israel.

Thanks Tom.
Bush and the present Republican lot are such unprepossessing characters though, but I'm not sure we will see much difference in US foreign policy should Kerry get his bottom on the Oval Office chair.
I saw Ralph Nader interviewed by Jon Snow on C4 last night, and I'm pretty sick of those, including Snow himself, who suggest he should withdraw from November's election to give Kerry a freer run.
Cheers
