Lunchtime in Sicily

Voracious clams Posted by Hello
Yours truly finishing a plate of spaghetti with clams or as the menu described "voracious clams". The restaurant is "La Cambusa" overlooking the port at Castellammare del Golfo Sicily.

Crikey Brian, I’m not sure you’ll survive if you follow, too slavishly, your nice G.P’s advice. Though she seems to have allowed you the Tuscan speciality… beans!!
Your mind will however receive more than adequate sustenance from the wonderful landscapes, unbelievable architecture and museums full of “blimey that’s where it’s kept “ pictures. I remember my first visit to Siena. Walking down a small sun sheltered alley to be faced suddenly with the Campo and the Palazzo Publico in full sunlight was quite a shock to the system. It’s easy to acquire Stendhal’s syndrome. The dizzying disorientation some tourists experience when they encounter masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance.
